1905 in Ironosa, San Augustine
County, Texas went to be home
with her Lord on July 26, 2009.
She was a member of First Baptist
Church in Longview.
She
was preceded in death by her husband
Floyd Forbis; and one great-grandchild,
Carol Lynn Broussard. She is survived
by her son and spouse, James D.
and Gerrie Forbis; daughters,
Helen Broussard and Ruth Swanzy;
9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren;
11 great-great grandchildren;
and numerous nieces and nephews.

will be at Welch Funeral Home,

Barrow of Terrell passed
away on July 22, 2009. She was
born on April 28, 1945, to the

Church of Terrell. She worked
with the Terrell ISD for over
30 years. She enjoyed spending
time with her grandkids, walking,
going to church, shopping and
helping others.

age 82, passed away Friday, July
24, 2009, at a Lufkin hospital.
Mr. McKinzie was born Nov. 19,
1926, in Shelby County, Texas,
as a son of the late Nettie (Dean)
and William McKinzie. He was a
U.S. Army veteran of World War
II and retired as a machinist
with Center Office Products. He
was a member of San Augustine's
First Baptist Church, where he
served as a deacon.

his home. He was born November
23, 1943 in Center to Dewey Edward
Tomlin and Nera Edna Ford Tomlin.
Judge Tomlin has served as Shelby
County Judge since January 1,
2007. He was a member of the Sons
of the Republic of Texas, The
Historical Society & The Historical
Commission. Judge Tomlin had also
served as a school board member

November 2, 1934, in Timpson,
Texas, Buster L. "Pete"
Ramsey was the son of the late
Frank and Mary Lee (Hughes) Ramsey.
He was a Baptist and had been
employed as a bulldozer operator
and oilfield worker.
Survivors
include a son, Terry Lee Ramsey
of Timpson; step-son Billy Dennix
and wife Belinda Ann of Buffalo,
Texas; two step-daughters, Gayle
Westmoreland and husband Ronnie
of LaPorte, Texas and Sheila Dennix

of Center. He is also survived

Born
in Terieton, OK., on December
5, 1923 Ernestine Hollyfield was
the daughter of the late Victor
and Susie F. (Johnson) Raper.
On January 7, 1943, she and Dee
Hollyfield were married in San
Deigo, CA. After moving to Timpson,
Texas, they became the owners
of Lanana Cleaners in Nacogdoches.
Ernestine Hollyfield was a member
of First Baptist Church, Timpson,
serving as a Sunday School teacher
and President of the WMU.
Survivors
include husband of 66 years, Dee
Hollyfield of Timpson; son Ronald
Dee Hollyfield and wife Chris
of Nacogdoches; daughter Dona
Jean Wilson of Brea Ca. and sister
Veda Baker of Rancho Bernardo,
CA.
She
is also survived by 5 Grandchildren;
John Shank, Dena Williams, Laura
Oxford, Matthew Hollyfield and
Nathan Hollyfield; 6 Great Grandchildren;
Athena, Gideon and Jesse Williams;
Cruz and Cory Oxford; and Regan
