at the UIL Region XXI Marching Contest.
The Rider band received a “superior”

at marching contest. The band has
received this distinction for six
consecutive years.
The adjudicators for this contest
were Mr. Richard Loveless from New
Boston High School, Mrs. Diane Baker

Noland, also from the Beaumont area.
Mr. Richard Loveless said, “Nice
Fanfare”, “Nice lines”.
Mrs. Diane Baker said “Super
well rehearsed band- beautiful ensemble
sounds…. Styling, articulation,
balance, blending- band YOU JUST DID
WELL!!!”
Mr. Nelson Noland said “Great
ensemble sound, very musical, great
drill design and execution…
awesome performance, exemplary learning
going on!”
The band would like to thank Mr.
James Hockenberry, Mr. Heath Hagler,
the school board, faculty and staff
at Center High School, and the Band
Booster club for their support of
this program. We would also like to
thank those who stuck around after
the homecoming game Friday night to
support the band in their last performance
before this contest.
The band is under the field direction
of Junior drum majors Jorge Figueroa,
and Tiffany Ruizo.
Congratulations to the Roughrider
band on an outstanding performance,
we are VERY PROUD of you!!! |
