Letter to the Editor (Email Scam) - September 1, 2010

It has recently been brought to my attention by concerned citizens and neighboring pastors that someone is intentionally slandering my name as pastor of the First United Pentecostal Church. Apparently, they are using my name on emails signed, "Steve Harris - FUPC" stating that Jesus is a habitual liar, cursing, as well as other doctrinal errors among other things.

If you receive any emails of this kind from the following email address that someone apparently has created:

STEVE_HARRIS@MINISTER.COM

Rest assured this is not from me! I appreciate the many calls of concern and emails of those who know my character and know this is not from me. I appreciate and ask for your prayers for me and my family as well as our church.
