Center PD Arrest 3 for P.O.C.S and 1 on Burglary Charges - June 30, 2010

On Wednesday, June 30, 2010, Officer Stephen Stroud of the Center Police Department arrested Kiffany Sparks (Left Photo) and Quincy Handy (Not pictured) for P.O.C.S... Officer Stroud conducted a traffic stop on Mr. Sparks and after further investigation; Officer Stroud found 9 grams of “crack” cocaine and a full bottle of PCP.

On Tuesday, June 29, 2010, Officer Chris Knowlton of the Center Police Department arrested Demarcus Bennett (Right Photo) for P.O.C.S… Officer Knowlton conducted a traffic stop on Mr. Bennett and after further investigation; Officer Knowlton found 87.1 grams of powder cocaine.

On Monday, June 28, 2010, Larry Thomas (Left Photo) was arrested and charged with 5 Burglaries with more pending. One of the burglaries Mr. Thomas is charged with is the burglary of the First United Methodist Church, where he destroyed property. This arrest follows after an investigation by Detective Joey Haley into several burglaries in the City of Center.
