Center FFA News - July 14, 2010
Mr. Walt Baty will be joining the Center Hight School and Center FFa agricultrual programs. Mr. Baty is a lifelong resident of Shelby County and has been involved with agricultura as a teacher and producer. Mr. Baty will be teaching Principles of Ag and Ag Mechanics courses as well as working with the Ag Mechanics and Livestock show teams.
Mrs. Arabelle Anthony has created a beautiful quilt for an FFA Fundraiser. It is hand pieced and will be given away at the 2010 CHS Homecoming Football Game. Donations on the Quilt are $1 - you can make your donations to Mrs. Brittain or at Center Antiques where the quilt is being displayed this summer.

2010 Poultry Festival Broilers
The following FFA members wil be participating in the broiler show this year on Saturday October 9th. Sam Porter, Colton hairgrove, Chris Renfro, Ashton Lucas, Jessica Berry, rachel Risinger, Carrie Ford, James Walker and Mitchell Nachman. Broiler pick up date and time has not yet been set - More info to come!!

Are you interested in showing an animal for FFA this year - ti is not too late but Mrs. Brittain will need to talk to you before school starts? The following FFA members have already signed up, but there is room for you!
