Shelbyville Small Schools Academic Competition - February 23, 2010

On February 18, 2010 Shelbyville High School hosted the Small Schools Area academic competition. Shelbyville entered three teams that competed against teams from Harleton. The team of Quentin Winstine, Corey Vaughn and Caleb Helander placed second, while the team of Amanda Craig, Jade Hagler, and Walter Hill placed third and the third team of Briley Boren, Keni Griffin and Marshane Caraway placed fifth. The teams placing second and third will compete at the State Small Schools competition in Temple, Texas on April 11. The fifth place team will serve as the alternate team. The Small Schools competition is coached at Shelbyville by High School teacher Rusty Wilson. Congratulations on a fantastic competition!
